These charts are often found on carved and wide sided cases with rack operated indicators. Most times they have been coloured yellow with Button polish which protects the paper. Difficult to achieve with a brush so some practice may be needed! These are copies we arranged for a special restoration and are good copies of an old chart. Printed black on white paper, uncut, paper would suit cases 5 1/4" - 5 3/4" wide, top of artwork to 30" mark = 4" and paper edge is 3" higher. The Height of atmosphere chart looks great if hand coloured as many old ones were. Fitzroy charts, Gothic style, subtle faded colurs, exceptionaly good colour copies of original charts. Even down to a slight colour shift in printing which was origianlly caused by different colur porinting blocks not positioning perfectly. We drove our printers spare but it was worth the extra work to get these charts - even I would not tell them from an old one in a few years when dusty.
