Aneroid movements, ceramic & glass dials & scales

Large aneroid movement, overall diameter 4 1/16", bellows 3" diameter. Height to underneath of dial minimum 1 3/8". Suitable for 6" dials (28" to 31" over 180 degrees)

Movement, 1 3/4" o/d, capsule 1 1/4" small movement - not much use for small old pocket barometer replacements,is not temperature compensated but might squeeze in some old cases if you have the space and skill to fit it somehow. Items now with small amount of plastic on levers but mainly as per picture.

Movement, 2 1/4" x 2 5/8", capsule 1 7/8" - suits medium sized dials. calibrated to 4 inches of mercury on the dial. not easy to fit to old barometers due to back plate designed for mounting with pre drilled holes in metal cases - but some people mange to mount if they have metal working facilities (drill and tapping etc) A good all round movement for small or medium sized dials, if you have longer heavy hand then possibly the double capsule movement would be more suitable - ref 1003113

Barometer movement brass, double diaphragm Brass base plate is 2 7/8" diameter, minmum clearance under dial is 1 1/16" - suits medium sized dials. calibrated to 4 inches of mercury on the dial. being 2 capsules it is a little stronger than the single capsules ones. The brass plate can be drilled and fitted to a wood case more easily than some movements.
