Brass (or brass finish on some) hands for setting (recording) hand on Aneroid Barometers. We would solder onto a brass hand making sure enough tension to allow it to turn but not drop on its own. That can be done by bending a little bit of the centre and use of a small non metal washer helps as well - but not as much as experience!. Measurements are from centre to the point and ideally match the black instrument hand. Will need cleaning and lacquering to suit as usual, some aging as old stock (non replaceable these days)
